1. About these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and THE PRINT COMPANY BAGSHOT LTD, company number 16904402, whose registered office is at 32 High Street, Bagshot, United Kingdom, GU19 5AZ. We trade as Afterbooth and operate afterbooth.co.uk. They apply when you create an account, use a free event or buy a subscription. Contact us at info@afterbooth.co.uk. If you use AfterBooth for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.
2. The service
AfterBooth provides short-term tools to upload, consistently crop, watermark, review, share and export event photographs, booth strips and audio recordings. Automated processing can occasionally produce an unsuitable result. You remain responsible for reviewing completed files before providing them to a client or guest.
3. Accounts and security
You must be at least 18, provide accurate information and keep your password, email account and devices secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Accounts may not be sold, shared between unrelated businesses or used to avoid service limits.
4. Free and paid plans
The free plan includes one event of up to 25 photos and applies a visible repeated Afterbooth logo watermark across its outputs. Unlimited currently costs £7.99 monthly or £59 annually, includes the features presented at checkout and renews automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. The total price, billing frequency and any applicable tax are shown before payment. We may change future prices by giving reasonable advance notice, but we will not alter a period already paid for.
5. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
You can turn off renewal online at any time from Billing through Stripe's customer portal. Paid access normally continues until the current billing period ends. We will confirm a scheduled cancellation electronically. Statutory cancellation and refund rights, where applicable, are not restricted by these terms. Our practical approach is explained in the Cancellation and refund policy.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of your content. You give us a limited, worldwide permission to host, copy, process, transmit and delete it only as needed to provide, secure and improve the requested service. You must have all rights, permissions and lawful bases required for the people and material in your uploads. You must give event guests suitable privacy information. Our Acceptable use policy forms part of these terms.
7. Event storage and sharing
AfterBooth is an event-processing and delivery service, not a permanent archive. Event originals, processed files and gallery assets are scheduled for deletion seven days after upload. You must check and export your completed event before the displayed expiry. Gallery links contain a secret key and may use a separate PIN. Anyone given valid access may view and, where enabled, download the gallery until it expires. You are responsible for sharing access only with intended recipients.
8. Third-party services
Payments, Google Drive exports, email and infrastructure depend on third-party providers. Their own terms may also apply when you use them. We are not responsible for changes or failures outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to restore affected AfterBooth features.
9. Availability and fair use
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may perform maintenance, update features and apply reasonable rate, file-size or security limits. “Unlimited” means unlimited events during an active plan, subject to the stated limit of 5,000 originals per event, seven-day retention and reasonable use by a photobooth business.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using AfterBooth at any time. We may restrict or close an account where reasonably necessary for non-payment, unlawful activity, a serious or repeated breach, a security threat or harm to other users. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to put matters right. Sections intended to continue after termination, including payment, ownership and liability terms, remain effective.
11. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, loss caused by content not exported before expiry, or a customer's failure to review outputs. Where the law permits, our total liability relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. General
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. We may transfer this agreement as part of a genuine sale or reorganisation of the service; you may not transfer it without our consent. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, while mandatory rights and courts available to a consumer where they live remain unaffected.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal or security changes. Material changes will be communicated reasonably before they take effect. Questions, complaints and cancellation requests can be sent to info@afterbooth.co.uk.
